There were so many missed tackles. Very little heat on the qb. Defensive backs couldn't cover, etc etc. The D sucked. Lost the game. Over 400 yards given up passing. GTFO. Hopefully this is a wakeup call.

Both defenses were pathetic. Saints D was beyond pathetic.

However, Matt Ryan is a top 10 and a pro bowl QB so we shouldn't feel so bad.

atlanta has a very talented offense. Hopefully we can bounce back and play better on defense next week. browns should provide ample opportunity for improvement.

Fock no. I'll do multiple threads if it wakes everybody the fock up. I don't give a fock how good the qb is for Atlanta. Missed tackles is inexcusable.

Who are you waking up that doesn't feel the same way? Are you making yourself feel better? Because that is all you're doing.

I think Hester is a huge impact for the Falcons this season. If not on his stats then by the way that he will open things up for White and Jones. The Falcons offense should be legit this year, even with the questions on the line.

Dont understand how he had zero receptions for the bears last year. Marshall and Jeffrey are obviously outstanding, but still very surprised at that stat

Missed tackles is what killed us, hopefully that is a point of emphasis in practice, get back to the basics

I know they have dangerous WR's but man our safeties were playing way off the ball, and seemed to have soft coverage all day

Lack of pass rush on a banged up o-line

Vaccaro actually had a pretty bad game too, he had several key missed tackles on touchdowns

This was one of those games where we kept hearing how dominant our D was going to be and our team starting believing they just had to show up for that to happen. This should be a wake up call that you have to earn that title, not just show up.

And if there is any team with a starting DB out there that needs a RB, we need to get on the phone really quick.

I thought CB was going to be suspect after Lewis but damn!! Add to that we generated no pass rush. That is the recipe for disaster against a good offensive team, which the Falcons are.

I had us at 13-3, and winning this game. I'm not sure if 12-4 will get us home field and we do not want to go through Seattle.

I hate to say it, but Matt Ryan is a huge Puss. If he can't sit back and play 7 on 7 he is very very good. If you hit him a few times, he folds. The key to beating Atlanta is to rattle Ryan early, even at the expense of the big play to make him uneasy the rest of the game.

Not sure how Rob Ryan doesn't know this.

What kind of pull do you think this place has?

Duncan doesn't actually post here.

Matt Ryan has the most fourth quarter comeback winning drives in the NFL since he entered the league. As much as we rip on the guy, he's a hell of a quarterback. And sometimes everything just clicks. Last night everything clicked for the falcons offense.

Does Ryan get credit for a game winning drive yesterday?

ETA: I don't think he should.

I agree. Matt Ryan is a very good QB. When he gets pressured all game, he doesn't respond well. That's all I'm saying.
