Should I go to that game? I have been to games @ Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Kentucky, and Florida. The reason I'm asking is because my last trip to Florida was awful. I hated it so much. The fans were the worst and the atmosphere kinda sucked. I had my beer confiscated (Wtf?) and I didn't even have a buzz brah.
Anyway, is auburn a good atmosphere for a visitor, or should I spare myself the 6 hour drive?

I didn't really care for my trip to Auburn either. Fans aren't the best . Campus was ok

Excellent road venue. Fans there are extremely nice.
It is in the country so don't expect big city lights and all but still a nice trip.

AU were good people, but I also went when they sucked (2012). It will be a big game, you should go and support the Tigers.

Hate Auburn but I do enjoy the trip. Never had a problem with police or fans.

I've been to AU 3 times, I recommend.

Better trip than UF, MSU, & OM in my opinion.

Been to 5 games there. How do you feel when you travel and LSU loses big games on the road? Also had a terrible experience with some douche bag AU student "fans", who had apparently finished finals earlier that day, at a LSU/AU baseball game. My wife was not impressed with their douchiness and vulgarity, either, but Eddy Furniss managed to kick their team's arse that day by himself. Sometimes I wonder how people get through life.

Should you go and support a the football team that you love? Absolutely, if I can make every LSU game I would regardless of the conditions.

Nice college town. Will be buzzin as both teams are in the thick. My advice is to wear dark navy shirt and stay away from young drunk locals. Absolutely great venue. Pregame, cowpoke village, Toomers corner, bbq, etc. geaux

Auburn is one of the best road trip destinations!

... of course, UF is the worst (city, stadium, fans, cops, etc.)

Auburn was one of my more enjoyable road game trips. Fans aren't as bad as others in the conference, college town atmosphere is pretty cool, and the stadium gets rocking for a good game.

It's near the top of the SEC road trip list.

I live in Atlanta and almost always make it to Auburn for the game. My experience at away games is that as long as you ignore the handful of douche fans, they're always a good time.
