Internet works for Explorer and Firefox, but not Chrome

start menu, type "cmd"
ipconfig /flushdns followed by ipconfig /registerdns
clear your cache for chrome
make sure that it's not set to use a proxy server, some malware will trigger that.

though if your internet connection was set to use a proxy i don't think it would work in IE or firefox either.
but just check to make sure
start menu, type out "internet options"
click on the connections tab, click LAN settings at the bottom and make sure the checkbox that says "use a proxy server for your LAN" isn't checked

I've seen the proxy set in Firefox, but not on IE before.
