Also said maybe Obama couldn't see the problems we face from the fairway. Didn't pull many punches.

For the record, I think Romney would've been a very good President. He would certainly have us in better shape than we are now with Obama. Of course, it's a tough time in the world right now, and the media would be hammering Romney 100X more than they go after Obama.

Can you imagine the fallout if Romney held a press conference and said, "We don't have a strategy on ISIS yet."

I agree. Ol' Mitt wasn't setting the bar very high, though.

Romney's mistake was that he listened to idiots like Karl Rove, who advised him not to fight back against phony Democrat charges like the war on women. Romney should've given a speech to a conservative women's group the week after that little weasel George Stephanopoulos engaged him in that phony, hypothetical discussion about the possibility of a state outlawing contraceptive products.

But, Romney never made that speech and never really fought back. Here we are 2 years later, and #waronwomen is still a viable (albeit phony) component of American politics.

Apparently he did a poor job of making that case when it mattered.

He should have been talking like this during the campaign.

Eh. I don't blame him. It was obvious after the first debate the game was rigged. Hell, Obama didn't even bother trying in the debate, and was praised by the media for basically acting like the douchebag he always was.

Not to mention Candy Crowley, etc...

I'm not saying MR would have been a great POTUS either. I just think he realized what he was up against at that point. Stupid populace, compliant media, corrupt pols on both sides, Repubs that are now no different than their Democrat opponents...

Frick it.
