I went ahead and picked up The Forest. Will mess around with that for a bit then get Spacebase and Banished.

Forest is a neat game, but you reach endgame very quickly. It has potential if they add in a lot more features. It's come a long way since I picked it up, you don't have to start from scratch every time you load the game anymore lol.

Now that I have figured out a strategy to kill cannibals and mutants I'm starting to explore more. I wish they had a map feature. Having to use the ones on reddit. I found a good spot on the coast that they hardly ever bother me at. Getting lumber down take a bit more work though.

So what's the word on this game? Worth a purchase? I was checking it out a while back. Looked like a cool idea but I wanted some reviews on whether or not it was well executed first

The map is very small, even the caves don't take much to explore them all. You will get your bearing fairly quick on where things are, they are suppose to add more map eventually though.

Good concept but there isn't any set goals yet.

Yeah, it definitely needs more, they are suppose to be adding multiplayer, so that might be kinda fun screwing with your friends.

I'm having fun alphaing these natives. I kill a few of them then set an effigy on fire in the middle of their little village. They don't frick with me too much anymore. They never come to my shelter along the coast anymore either. They didn't come that often before now it is zilch.
