It's only week 2, and how many fricking times are we going to see this shite? 1 point or 1000, it's an upset that did not happen.

And now we'll be graced with that final touchdown on every fricking highlight reel. Why watch if this is the end result every time?

Would you prefer the blowouts that were supposed to happen? This at least makes the games interesting.

"interesting" does not go far enough. What happened to seasons like 2007, with Stanford and Appalachian state? I feel like every upset special since then vanishes in the final minute.

I agree that it is better than than a blowout, but at some point the upset must happen, right?

Because it isn't the end result every time.

Upsets happen all the time.

People find anything to complain about. Quit watching if you don't like it. I'm loving today so far and looking forwards to the rest of the lineup.

I think he's referencing your whining more than, what I think, is your actual point.

How about GSU beating UF last year? WVU beating OU? Tennessee beating South Carolina? Wazzu beating USC? Utah beating Stanford? UNI beating ISU?

Upsets are still happening, so I don't get what you're still complaining about.

It's definitely enjoyable, but you either have an upset of the ages or you don't.

I guess it is because I have a soft spot for the players who come up short. They play their heart out, and all the opposing fans will do is dismiss it as a "hangover" or "looking ahead".

Yes yes, we all know you desperately want a major upset to make people forget about App State.

That's my point, bunk. It seems like ever since 2007, upsets aren't happening as much.
