Loved these movies as a kid and still do but as an adult, I can't help but see how big of a brat Annie was. Poor Brian, if Annie can't spend within her means at a wedding, just imagine how unbearable she will be as a wife. I mean she threw such a fit about getting a blender after all. Guess it didn't live up to the new car her rich in-laws bought her. A big plot point that is often over-looked is the fact that they had only been dating for a few months.

George's wife was no saint either forcing him to agree to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a wedding otherwise he had to stay in jail. BTW, I saw a rumor about a third one which would focus on the son returning from the military to reveal he is gay and engaged. Thank god that was debunked.

There is no way I could ever hate Kimberly Williams Paisley. The story of how her and Brad met because of this movie is awesome. And I say that completely secure with my manliness. Tugs at my heart strings, man.

Yep.

But Diane Keaton is the worst wife in the world.

Annoying, cloying, whiny, unfaithful, stupid, jealous, bratty...etc.

From Godfather to Annie Hall to Manhattan to Father of the Bride to the Family Stone.

As an aside to the other thread...Diane Keaton is the least person, anyone would ever marry immediately.

She looked cute in Godfather 1/Annie Hall but then age really transformed her into a hag. Steve Martin on the other hand has looked relatively the same from the day he turned gray.
