A Million Ways To Die in the West

I'm not sure what is going on. I am pretty picky with movies and generally, I'm pretty in line with critics rather than the audience.
I watched Neighbors last weekend which if I remember correctly, hovered around 90% on RT before settling at 71%. It was fine. A bit of a let down because it was pretty roundly praised but was just meh.
I watched A Million Ways to Die in the West last night which was skull drug by the critics and settled at 33% on RT.
Ignoring the plot and just taking in the jokes, AMWTDITW was exponentially more entertaining than Neighbors. The Ribisi/Silverman running joke was better than anything in Neighbors by itself.
