The ceremonies will be better than Mariano's and touching I am sure. The fans will not stop chanting his name.
Just surprised so early in September.

The guy is awesome. When I was 9 I was sitting behind the dugout at then The Ballpark in Arlington and he struck out heading back to the dugout and I yelled leaning over the dugout "Can I have your batting gloves?" He took them off threw them to me then I got them signed the next day. I was staying at the same hotel with him when I was like 12, and me and a couple friends were waiting to get autographs from him while he was at dinner with Jorge Posada. He saw us waiting and waved to us to come on over. We sat and talked to Jeter and Posada for like 10 minutes at dinner with them.
