Its called rbfriday.com and it ALMOST looks legit.

I'm not positive though, because after googling it appears fake Ray Ban websites are pretty common and well done.

ETA:

No I don't want Ray Bans or fake Ray Bans. I wear cheap polarized shades that I break monthly. A coworker sent me this and I figured the OT could give some insight into the validity.

This is a quote from the FAQ page. I'm going to say no.

quote:

10. Why do you charge my card more than your product price?
We only receive the product price. The extra money may be charged by the blank as the blank fee.Hope you can understand.

HA

No. A coworker shared with me. I buy cheap polarized glasses because I break sunglasses more than anyone I've ever met.

How are sites like this allowed to exist? I mean, it uses Ray Ban logos and stock photos and shite.

Can Ray Ban not get it shut down?

(there are apparently dozens similar to this)

Ray Ban was bought out years ago by the same company in Italy that owns Lens Crafters,Eye Med,
and just about every other designer name in the eye glass industry.

Pretty much a monopoly

From the license agreement.

quote:

a legal agreement between you and North America, Inc., a Delaware Company, it’s parents, subsidiaries and affiliates including Malletier, S.A. (“LVNA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) providing, among other things, the terms and conditions for your access to and use of this Web site.

North America, Inc. is a supply/warehouse type organization.

Malletier is LV.
S.A. is a French term for an anonymous company
LVNA is Louis Vuitton North America.

Ray Ban is owned by Luxottica
Louis Vuitton glasses are made by Luxottica Eyewear of Italy

I'VE SOLVED NOTHING
