Got a strange google rewards survey...anyone know why they would ask this?

So last week ran into Lowe's to grab something for work, and didn't think anything of it.
Two days later I got a one question Google rewards survey popup that asked when the last time I was inside a Lowe's was, and had the correct date that I was there, ALONG with 2 other dates in the past couple of weeks I was inside Lowe's.
I always have location services on (but not GPS) and am not really concerned with it as a privacy issue, as I signed up for Google rewards.
The question is do yall think this is g
Google trying to improve their location services, or are they in an agreement with Lowe's for an advertising setup?
Not a big deal just curious, was kinda creepy at first then I remembered I had signed up for the rewards program

Any idea if its google working on location recognition/accuracy or an advertising setup?
Just curious
Eta: I haven't gotten any ads since then or anything just trying to figure it out

I had a similar survey and just figured they were testing me to see if I was taking them serious and being honest when doing the surveys.
