What professions are the most "Lions on the Serengeti" young overcome old?

I got to thinking about this - Which human professions are the most like those wildlife shows where the older male kicks the arse of younger ones until finally one (or two) get the best of him and take over? You see it with lions, with chimps, pretty much any social animals.
I know there are obvious ones like sports. But I think other fields have that dynamic to one extent or another also - music? acting? law? high tech? politics?
