I honestly don't see a problem there. Are teams going to try to tank for 5th worst?

As for Cleveland, as much as it sucks, let's look at how they've gotten their top picks:

2003 t-worst
2011 8th worst (from Lakers)
2013 3rd worst
2014 9th worst

As much as it sucks, they got lucky. Tanking had little to do with it.

I agree that they aren't "tanking" and it's a ground up rebuild. Celtics did that before they got KG IIRC and are kind of doing it now.

Unfortunately I agree with that too. But it's bad when an entire Division is bad. Who wants to watch a team from the East play?

The east is getting more balanced fwiw.

There's a lot of young talent there.
