Thoughts on Michigan State Oregon

Despite the spread, I think Michigan State pulls out a win against Oregon. MSU's Defense last year looked as good as SEC defenses, and they've got two first round DB's still playing on the team.
I can see MSU stopping Oregon like Stanford did last year.

Game is at Oregon?? Oregon wins

DBs don't stop teams like Oregon, TAMU, and Clemson. DLinemen do. How is MSU's dline? Usually it's pretty good, but I honestly don't know.

I did hear that Oregon plays in an airplane hangar, is that correct?

They still got that Shilique Calhoun guy who was awesome last year. And have been recruiting some good players. And good point, btw, it is speedy linemen that contain those teams. But MSU is talented on the line

I'm playing the over, even if it's 99.

If Michigan St can control the line of scrimmage and keep their dline fresh, they have a shot.
Once Oregon begins to wear the Dline down, with their hurry up offense, it's 7-8 yards a pop on runs, then bang the big one.

I think Oregon maxed out when Kelly was coaching. I don't think Helfrich can keep them at the level they once were.
Michigan State - 31
Oregon - 26

They are talented, but not necessarily "speedy." I worry about their ends containing the read option. On the other hand, MSU runs a great offense to keep Oregon off the field.

Oregon is once again the most overrated team in CFB. MSU will push them around. Sparty wins 28-24.

The DE's are fast. I'm an LSU fan, but I'm up in Wisconsin working on a doctorate, so before the SEC network I ended up watching a good bit of the Big 10.
The ends are both light explosive pass rushers.
Marcus Rush - 251 lbs.
Shilique Calhoun - 256 lbs.

I think Dantonio is 10x the coach Helfrich is, so I'll go MSU in a close one.

Curious to see how the weather will affect the teams. Apparently supposed to be about 100 degrees.

Pretty sure last year Alabama was the most overrated team.

if MSU comes in and runs the ball down their throats, they will also win.
Oregon is soft, you 2 TE and a Fb, and run down hill, their defense folds like cheap wallpaper.

Also, I don't get why people say Oregon is the most overrated team and always loses against big teams. Remember when the Ducks beat Stanford by 20+ when they had Andrew Luck? Peoplr also say Alabama would destroy Oregon but Alabama lost to TAMU(Oregon lite) a few years ago. Oregon lost to Auburn by 3 a couple of years ago when there was a play that should have been a fumble and thus a touchdown from only 19 yards, but the refs didn't even review the play and just gave the ball back to Auburn.
