All right, say what you want about limp bizkit but who really pioneered nu metal?

Korn, slipknot, Limp bizkit and staind did. You cant really argue with that.

In 2000, Limp Bizkit's follow-up album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, set a record for highest week-one sales of a rock album with over one million copies sold in the U.S. in its first week of release, with 400,000 of those sales coming on its first day, making it the fastest-selling rock album ever, breaking the world record held for seven years by Pearl Jam's Vs.[80]

Point , set , match. All the deftones fanboys can pack up their little bags and go to weight watchers and/or Hot Topic. Chris Moreno will never amount to half of what Durst is. Limp Bizkit is the motherfricking GOAT. I cant wait until they go on tour again!

I think Fear Factory is more in the vein of Godflesh style industrial metal. When I think Nu Metal, I think Slipknot and Korn. Fear Factory doesn't fit imo.

Has Coal Chamber been mentioned yet?

I don't know what the frick Godflesh is but you're right ab Fear Factory not belonging. They are definitely not nu metal.

I don't know if any of you baws are aware, but there's sort of a nu metal revival going on right now. These two bands in particular are blowing up right now

Sevendust should be tier 1 and slide Papa Roach down a few slides along with the Limp.

Post some legit Sevendust songs and I'll put them first tier. Not really sure if Sevendust is ready to make that kind of leap yet. Limp Bizkit is GOAT so pretty tough to move them down.
