At what point would an outbreak of a virulent disease cause you to say: "frick it! I'm outta here.." and head to the hills?

Man, I'm really worried.
WHAT if ISIS captures this guy, puts him on a plane, takes it to Mexico, then sneaks him across the border into the US and then people shake his hand and the infection spreads across the US?
