Allergies really kicked in a couple days ago, pretty damn miserable and have way to much going on to be feeling like shite. I was taking Zyrtec but it makes me feel weird and hazy. Need something that can knock this shite out quick but not make me drowsy.

I react the same way to Zyrtec. Allegra (fexofenadine) works best for me, while Claritin is least effective. If you're congested, try Breathe-Right strips and/or Nasacort.

Definitely try the Nasacort. Also, Zyrtec can be sedating in most people.

Try Allegra, and if there's any nasal/sinus congestion with it, get the Allegra-D

Try nasacort nasal spray... I have suffered with allergies for decades and the only thing that has worked for me is benadryl...and that makes me so damn sleepy that I can't function...

nasacort doesn't make me sleepy and works better for me than anything that I have ever tried...you can get it at the wall marks and it is cheap as hell. I'll never take another pill for allergies...

Yea the benadryl works for me but I am a damn zombie on it. Does the nasacort help with other symptoms besides congestion?

my main symptoms are sneezing and itchy throat and eyes...it pretty much shut down the sneezing like nothing else has and knocked back the itchy throat for the most part....my eyes did still get a little itchy, so I used some otc eye drops when that was a problem...

The "D" could have been contributing to making you feel "weird and hazy". Zyrtec makes me sleepy and hung over the next day, but pseudoephedrine (the "D") makes me feel jumpy and weird.

Get yourself a naked power c drink

Down two and then drink one in morning and evening.
If that doesnt help, prescription nose spray is money

Yep. Doc told me Nasacort 24 is basically nonprescription-level Flonaise, at a Walmarks price.

Works for me.

Benadryl at night. A teaspoon of local honey every day will help also. Allegra, Claritin, etc work for me some times of the year and don't so shite at other times. No idea why.
