Got an 8 team draft tonight, don't know my pick yet, and I'm not sure what the best strategy is. Target QB(Peyton, Brees, and Rodgers) and TE(Graham, Thomas) early for the weekly advantage or load up on RB's and WR's due to the depth available at QB and TE in an 8 team league? I'm used to 12 team leagues so the player depth in an 8 team league is going to be foreign to me. Standard ESPN scoring, non ppr. QB,RB,RB,WR,WR, TE, RB/WR/TE Flex
Ran a search and couldn't find any previous post on this.

Load up on WRs and RBs early.

Draft a QB in the 5-10 round range.

Draft upside. Everyone in an 8 team league is stacked.

Every time I've taken a TE or QB early in mock drafts, I didn't like my team. So I would load up on RBs and WRs.

I typically wait awhile on QB's. Got Russell Wilson in round 12 of a ten team league last night.I always draft for upside also.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Yeah, get the top tiers early. Depending on your position you could get 1 top tier running back and 1 top WR. Or jimmy graham/peyton manning if you want the best at that position. Also make sure you check the scoring settings.
