Just 4 more states to go in the 2014 primary season. Delaware, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire voters all go to the polls at all levels next Tuesday, the 9th, closing out the process. New York has already had their congressional primary, but state and local office voting will also take place next Tuesday. (Cuomo and Asterino are going to be the gubernatorial nominees there, but there is a controversy brewing over the lieutenant governor slot on Cuomo's ticket. The potential "story" there is that Cuomo could suffer longterm major political damage both Tuesday and in November, even while winning reelection.) MA could possibly see a Republican upset for Governor in November, and in NH at least one of the 2 House seats, both now held by Dems, could go GOP in November. There is also a possible, though still unlikely, defeat of Dem Sen. Shaheen in November by Scott Brown, who has to beat a former U.S. Senator next week to get the opportunity to face off with Shaheen.
