This might sound bad for me saying this

But, I do not feel sorry for U.S. Civilians getting killed by ISIS. They know the dangers of going over there so why do they keep going over there?
Look, if you don't want your head cut off...then don't go over there. It's not rocket science.
You are a civilian with zero military battle experience. It is not a place for you to go as a civilian.
It is indeed sad that these atrocities are happening to our citizens over there but it is their own faults for putting themselves in these positions.
Don;t give me shite that that contractors are over there to help rebuild. They are over there to make a shitload of money. They do not care about the people of Iraq or that shite hole of a country.
Believe me, if they could make the same amount of money building shite over here in the states then they would not be over in Iraq helping build the country because they have a kind heart.
And as for media covering this story - STOP. The only reason they are doing these disgusting acts is because our stupid fricking media is covering it 24/7

I feel bad for any American caught up in that crap - just trying to do his or her job. It's terrible. I feel bad for them, and their families. I wear the uniform and part of my job is protecting those people by the mere threat and potential of what we're able to do if necessary.
In a way, when these civilians are killed, or when something like 9/11 happens, I've failed - we've failed and we feel responsible, at least to some degree.
And even when the door is open for us to at least get even, the politicians always stop us short of victory. Even Harry S. - the last guy who really let us finish a job - lost his stomach for it a few years later in Korea.
I would feel bad for these guys if they were given a dignified 2 to the back of the skull. To be decapitated alive and conscious - those are the actions of Stone Age barbarians, period.
In a way, when these civilians are killed, or when something like 9/11 happens, I've failed - we've failed and we feel responsible, at least to some degree.

It is a terrible thing and I do feel sorry for them, but I also believe there is a well known risk that they accepted by going over there.
If they chose to expose themselves to that kind of risk for personal gain, then I don't think it should fall on the taxpayers to spend millions of dollars searching for the killers. I hope the kidnappers/killers/etc die slow terrible deaths, or when there is a time to strategically bomb that area I hope they catch a mouth full of shrapnel.
I am all for killing bad guys and protecting US interest, I am not for protecting people who ignore serious warnings and put themselves well beyond the reach of US protection.
