You do realize that third world doesn't mean out of country?

Don't jinx us....with our athletic director's propensity to go into Neville Chamberlin mode,

we'd be playing in the Sudentenland on some oddball Wednesday night!!!!!

With at Syracuse on tap for next year I bet SEC Network wants LSU for an opening SEC kickoff game next year. I don't think LSU does another kickoff game in 2015, hopefully a marquee opponent in Tiger Stadium will surface

We were the first team to ever play a football game on foreign soil.

We are the pioneers.

don't they teach history any more???

Neville Chamberlin was the British Prime Minister in 1938 who signed the deal with Hitler that screwed over the Czechs..."peace in our time"

he was the guy who was replaced by Winston Churchill....

What does Neville Chamberlain (FYI, that's the correct way of spelling his name) have to do with LSU scheduling?

I use it to refer to our athletic director's propensity to:

1-surrender to the powers that be in Birmingham about LSU traditions...i.e. why are we the ones stuck playing a Thanksgiving night game at TAM?

2-his love of the out of state season opener games...

3-"inaction this day"--refer to my post of last year about the clusterf*** during the Florida game...oh we have consultants and we'll fix it next year....that's when I said he need to channel a bit more Churchill and a lot less Chamberlain (been a LONG time since I had 20th Century British History with Dr. Lipscomb)
