I'll admit when we got down 24-7 I was 100% sure that we'd come back. After that opening drive in the 2nd half, it was looking like we were about to get run out of the stadium. Then, our Defense and OL woke up and began playing ball.

Bama struggled against West VA
South Carolina got embarrassed against Texas A&M
Georgia played better vs. Clemson
Ole Miss was about even vs. Boise State

Is it a down year for SEC Defense or is Week #1 just a blimp on the radar?

They can't be much worse than last year

This is just stupid though:

Bama gave up 628 yards to A&M last year. You can't look at 1 game

Let's hope it's a down year, but I definitely think the other schools come around. SC is overrated. Their secondary is just awful. I can't wait to eat up that aTm pass offense. We have arguably the best secondary in America. What's crazy is even though we allowed only 50 yards total passing all game, I truly believe we were without our best back!

I am unsure of why Bama can't beat spread teams. Maybe it is the way they have been recruiting...
