Have to be the most hateable coaching combo in the country. Followed by Saban and Kiffen.

The combos are incomparable. Saban didn't leave Michigan State or LSU in shambles; he established a foundations that have been well maintained and strengthened since his departure.
Grantham was a terrible defensive coordinator, and Kiffin failed as a head coach; both squander talent.
Petrino has poor character like Kiffin, but he's a great football mind. Petrino does more with less.
Saban does about what you'd expect for the coach of the top program in college football. Saban's character hasn't really been called into question. Saban is a great coach.

What little talent Petrino did leave on the roster graduated after the JLS year.
You could say Petrino did more with less but his star players were all either five stars (Mallett) or four stars (Wilson, Wright, Adams, Knile, etc).

As much as I "hate" Saban I agree.
I am disappointed that Alabama decided a scumhole like Kiffin was the answer. I lost a lot of respect for the school with that hiring.
