i once was engaged into a conversation at walgreens pharmacy about this topic, dude swore he heard an explosion at the levee when though he was nowhere near 17th street canal

It's directed by Spike Lee and there are supposedly eyewitness accounts of people hearing "explosions"

I traded comments with Steve Harvey on twitter when he made the comments about this at Essence. Told him I thought he was more intelligent than that. Yes, let's blow up the levee in a major city with one of the most important ports in the western hemisphere just to kill a few black people. Dumbest thing I have ever heard.
