Bruce Pearl is setting the standard in SEC basketball

Auburn currently has the top recruiting class in the SEC. Pearl is on fire. Three four-star recruits in the 2015 class + a JUCO standout.

Say what you will about Pearl's problems with the NCAA, but blatant cheating or questionable recruits is not his MO.

Monty is exactly correct. The same NCAA official that put the sanctions on Tennessee and pearl is now on our compliance staff. Dumbasses don't realize we either keep a tight ship, or we cover shite up like a mofo,

And he'll get Auburn to the post season, probably faster than most other coaches could.

Just a matter of time until he gets caught again. For those keeping score this would be job #3 that he gets rung up. Very good coach but a better conman and bag man. Fits right in with Calipari

As a fan of SEC basketball I'm glad to see it. No way this league should be so mediocre in basketball. It's time for (at least) LSU, Bama, AU, Tenn, Ark. to step it up. We can't just have UF and UK carrying the torch. This league used to have some great battles night in and night out.

He's recruiting alright but teams like Florida and Kentucky typically don't build their classes until later in the signing period since a lot of 5-star kids wait until later to commit.
