The St. Louis Rams will not sign DE Mike Sam to their practice squad after he went unclaimed by all other teams.
It'll be hard for him to catch on anyone's practice squad, imo.

I know it was against back-ups and it was preseason, but Sam actually played pretty well in the preseason games.
I personally think it's the Rams' prerogative not to have him on the practice squad, but even though you'll have people saying "he sucks" or "he just wasn't good enough", I gotta believe the media circus issue certainly played at least a minor role in the decision.
