Southern arrives late to Cajun Field because of eligibility questions

Kickoff was at 6pm and the Jags didn't arrive to the stadium until 5:15 because the school held the team in BR while they tried to certify five starters eligibility.
Shouldn't that have been taken care of way before yesterday?
This, to me, is why Southern can't be taken seriously. Sucks too because I like Dawson Odoms.
Also sucks for the kids.

Yep. Then the principal comes on the intercom and makes some other announcements. That is usually what happens in homeroom at elementary schools...

That makes sense now.
I have actually heard the Pledge at one other football stadium...and it was at the Swamp in Florida. I am as American as they come, but that to me was awkward. It did send me flashing back to elementary school.
