I don't think people should be too quick to try to downgrade this win.

we played a team that had no QB or WRs and by the end of the game, no DL. if that continues, they will struggle

No I agree with your general sentiment that Wisconsin isn't a very good team, but I think they are winning way more than 7 games this year.

Your 7 win estimate and your "struggle to make a bowl in a real division" statement is over the top.

Oh for sure. But we tend to figure things out.

One of wisconsin's toughest games on paper looked to be Northwestern on the road. They just got killed at home by Cal.

Wisconsin is not a good team. They will be lucky to win 7.

9-10 wins. Going to look good at the end of the year if we can avoid more than 2 losses ourselves.

8-9 win tam. If their QB could throw, probably a B1G contender.

I think they're so-so, but they don't have to play most of the better Big 10 teams this year. They might end up with a pretty good record, but I think the are a middle of the road Big 10 team in reality.

I think they could only lose one more and that is an big if, because that game is at Camp Randall, to Nebraska...with that run game and soft Big 10 schedule I think they could run the table to the Big Title Game...

Their recruiting classes have been ranked in the top 60 annually. Not to mention the fact they had us on the ropes for 3 qtrs, we very well may see them again in the NCG.

They will win more than 7.

But, you are fooling yourself if you don't think LSU has a long way to go.

They lost their 2 main D
Linemen to injury. We were losing the game up until that point. Suddenly, we find a running game. Les and LSU get lucky again. This guy truly does have 9 lives.

Wisconsin needs to figure some things out, but opening games don't always tell the story of a team. QB/WR play was laughable, and I enjoyed their late futility.

In 2009, Iowa blocked two FG on back to back plays to beat FCS power Northern Iowa in the opening game. Iowa had no business winning and looked absolutely awful.

They won the next eight, went 10-2, and then slapped around Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl. However, nine of he starters on that Iowa D played in the NFL.

That said, LSU looked pretty awful too. I don't think they win without the DL injuries.

I'm worried about the line play on both sides of the ball, but most of our fans underestimated Wisconsin's offensive line.

Probably the 3rd or 4th best team in the Big10. Fortunately for them they avoid Michigan St and Ohio state. With their schedule, they can and should win 9-10 games. But that doesn't really mean they are all that good.

With the schedule that you posted, Im going with 9 wins could be 10. Make a bowl game and with a healthy Melvin Gordon, I believe they could win the Bowl game.

Their D is not built to last. Losing Zagebski and Herron was a worst-case injury scenario for their D. They have no backups who can hold the point of attack. Their schedule is putrid, but so is their passing game. They'll drop a couple of Big10 slugfests that they shouldn't.

Losses against Rutgers, Iowa, Nebraska will make it a long November for Bucky.

A QB away from being a top 15 or 20 team. 7-5 or 8-4.
