My God I hate ESPN. Opening day of college football. They show UGA, FSU, LSU game highlights...then 10 minute segment about Sam getting cut.

No. I'm implying that if ESPN is truly terrible then people will watch other sports channels instead. Somebody else will step in and provide a Sportscenter-like show where Michael Sam wouldn't be mentioned.

If you grow up in the U.S. as an openly gay male (and in most other countries) - at best you're verbally abused your entire childhood - and at worst you're beaten up every day. Likely by some of the folks posting in this thread.
