PC + Wii U will fill almost all your gaming needs, unless you like Pokemon.

If you have young children or a gf/wife that enjoys games the WiiU can definitely be worth buying.

They don't even have to enjoy games. The Wii U appeals to them even if they're not a gaming person. My gf doesn't do games but she likes the wii u.
The wii u definitely appeals to the females more than the other consoles.
