Just a breaking update in the case - finally the saga has apparently ended..
"Judge dismisses McDaniel challenge"
Geoff Pender, The Clarion-Ledger 2:40 p.m. CDT August 29, 2014
"Judge Hollis McGehee approved U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran's motion to dismiss Chris McDaniel's lawsuit over his loss of the GOP primary to Cochran.
McGehee agreed with Cochran's lawyers that a 1959 state Supreme Court ruling imposed a 20-day deadline for McDaniel to file his legal challenge of the June 24 primary runoff. McDaniel didn't file his challenge -- first with the state Republican Party -- until 41 days after the election."

Yes, McDaniel still has the right to appeal the decision, but the likelihood of that seems almost nil.

LOL
20 days wasn't enough for him to beg people for more money, so that he could pay off the 100k loan he made to his campaign.
