quote:

Echoing Benjamin Nentayahu (and Hillary Clinton), Elizabeth Warren’s clear position is that Israel bears none of the blame for any of this. Or, to use her words, “when Hamas puts its rocket launchers next to hospitals, next to schools, they’re using their civilian population to protect their military assets. And I believe Israel has a right, at that point, to defend itself.” Such carnage is the ”last thing Israel wants.” The last thing. That, ladies and gentlemen, is your inspiring left-wing icon of the Democratic Party.

if the farthest left senator we have, and potential presidential candidate is blindingly pro-isreal, we are so fricked. we need a debate on our role in the ME, and warren is not going to be a counter balance to the hawks, and neo-cons.

assuming she or hillary gets the DEM nod, DEM doves have no justification for voting for either now

Troof. Biden is in the same camp to fwiw.

If rand can get the nod in 2016, he can capture the dove base. this could be a generational transformation to the electorate. Bigger than the goldwater turn.

he's not perfect, but he's, by far, the best bet in trying to fix our federal monstrosity known as a government

I agree. My wife will flip out if I vote for him though.

The thing is there is almost zero chance he gets the nomination in 2016.

i will be happy to be proven wrong.

Christy is not out, neither is perry. They certainly are trying though. But rand is on the horizon, he will be an easier take down IMHO.

It isn't the Democrats he has to worry about.

The only Dem candidate who will offer any kind of realtalk is Brian Schweitzer. But he's too rough around the edges and if he runs will probably come off as an unserious Mike Gravel type.

Unless he pulls a Thad Cochran, a.k.a. Operation Chaos, in the primaries.
