listening to this record... it's up there with war on drugs "lost in the dream" for best releases in 2014.

Just heard Goshen '97 yesterday morning and I thought it was Dinosaur Jr until the singing started. I like it.

I had never heard of this band. I'm a big fan of Dinosaur Jr. 1 song in and I like it a lot. Thanks for posting!

my friend says this is his favorite album of the year. i thought it was ok, but should try the whole album.

listen to the whole thing. there's some VERY different songs contrasted against each other.

Yeah, this one is one of my picks in the best albums of the year thread. I really loved his previous album Pope Killdragon as well, but HEAL is a serious step forward.

Agree that this album is completely all over the place....but it is good. Really love the first side, I guess if looking from vinyl perspective. But there is absolutely no common theme. Heavy distorted guitars into ballads. Simple chord progressions into difficult ones. The first 5 tracks will sell you but I feel like I had question marks as it continued to the end.

Philadelphia is bringing some good stuff to the table right now....
