With Schaub out all week with a sore elbow and sucking all preseason, Carr gets his shot to start and make his case against the Seahawks.

How did he do? Pretty fricking good.

quote:

@SportsCenter: What a preseason finish for Derek Carr! The Raiders rookie leads 4-touchdown drives, finishes 11-13, 143 Yds, 3 TD.

quote:

@ESPNNFL: HELLO DEREK CARR!

Carr leads Oakland to 2 touchdowns in 15 seconds against most of Seattle's first team, incl. a 36-yard TD pass to Moore

frick it, start him Week 1, no one wants to see Schaub.

Or do you continue to baby him along and wait to start him midseason when Schaub is complete shite and the season is over?

It's Oakland. They'll do the thing that makes the least sense and pisses off most of their former inmate fanbase.

As a Houstonian, I never imagined a day when Schaub would be backing up a Carr

People are actually making serious comments based on the 4th preseason game. Wow

From everything I've been hearing, Schaub has looked like dogshit in practice and preseason. This isn't the same as the "is Manziel a bust?" bullshite.

If he starts and does well, who's the WR to own? Holmes, Jones, Streater, or Moore?

This has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Ok. Well you're saying that the "start the Carr" hype is a game 4 preseason overreaction when Schaub has looked like dogshit in both practice and the game and Carr has looked good in both. So I disagree that it's an overreaction.

I would also add that David Carr is my Archie Manning...I think he would've been a great qb anywhere but there. One of the worst O-lines I've ever seen

At least that's what PeeJ says.
