This is incredible. First of all, Yahoo states in the title that Perry is "confused," because Perry says he is being charged with bribery instead of abuse of power. If you read what Perry says, he clearly talks about this being the second time this jurisdiction has filed charges against him. Perry mentions two charges, "one of which was briberu."

But in the case you can't see how biased that is, look at how Yahoo couches the rest of the argument, claiming that Perry is "in denial," "angry" etc.

Of course, this total mischaracterization of Perry also allows Yahoo to mention other "oops moments" for the Governor.

When some of you liberals react to conservatives claiming extreme liberal bias in the media with emoticons, gif's, etc, this article is a concrete example of what we are talking about.

Oh, and don't bother getting tecnical and claiming that Yahoo isn't a news organization. How many people logged on to Yahoo and read that piece of crap article this morning?

I didn't realize how liberal they are as a whole until during the election. They slammed Romney every which way they could.

"hater" and "angry" will become the new "racism" claim in the next 20-30 years.

Yahoo with a slant has been their norm since 08....at least. It's funny when they became journalists - they would take their notes from other true journalists, mix it up by adding their own slant and then post it with a link to the original article (WSJ/NYT/CNN etc.)

Trash is gonna trash.

Who reads yahoo news articles???

From the Houston Chronicle:

quote:

AUSTIN — As Gov. Rick Perry addressed business leaders in New Hampshire last Friday, he was asked about the two-count felony indictment he’s facing back home.

His answer, according to ABC News: “I’ve been indicted by that same body now for I think two counts, one of bribery, which I’m not a lawyer, so I don’t really understand the details here.

Are you sure he's been idicted before?

Are they all "opinion pieces"? This is all I ever see from Yahoo, one biased article after another.

Cwill, perhaps perhaps this is the only indictment for Perry. But he did mention two charges, so the fact that he said something about bribery doesn't mean he is unaware of the abuse of power charge.

It's clearly a hit piece, ds, regardless of how you characterize it.

But, by all means, let's engage in semantics in order to avoid acknowledging the obvious.

In a perfect world a news article would only have facts. Opinion articles obviously have bias. That's why they're called "opinion" pieces.

That article is from The Wire.

Yahoo rarely has their own articles. Most are links to other websites.

And to be honest, I find Yahoo to be pretty neutral.

What does that have to do with the obvious bias of yahoo as a media outlet?
