E. Paris was an inspiring recruit. Who has heard how he is doing now at LSU?

Ed Paris was one of my favorite recruits to read about as he was so actively pulling boys toward LSU. He was a virtual good will ambassador at the practices and All American games leading up to January 2.

I haven't heard from him at all since fall camp. Have any of you heard anything out of him since he got to Baton Rouge???
He really impressed me in the recruiting process. He was articulate and persuasive. He worked the recruits as well as Frank and the others.

Just wondering...

Because of the depth we have, I think he is kinda getting lost in the shuffle right now. I could see him play special teams this season and really blossom next year and the year after.

You can expect Paris, Battle, and Adams to play early and often on Defense and Special Teams.

He's not lost in shuffle but def overshadowed by other freshman. He's apparently looking real good and is a backup corner who will probably see some action at some point this year. Special teams guy for sure.

From what I gather, he's extremely polished for a freshman. He's playing physical and has a chance to play some this year on defense, and like everyone has said a special teamer for sure.

Wonder if he will be the freshman killing people on ST this year. Anyone have the gifs of Landry vs Auburn as a freshman?

He will be a solid player at LSU before he leaves. Will get some playing time on D but lots on special teams this year. Adams is ahead of him at safety now and we are stacked at CB

Paris wants to play CB. Did you expect him to immediately challenge White and/or Robinson for a starting CB position? Making it to second team would be quite an accomplishment since LSU has Collins and Thomas also as returning lettermen.

One of my favorite games ever…what a dominating performance!
Those kickoff tackles were just nasty. I could watch those plays over and over.

Thanks for posting.

From what I have seen and heard, he is having a great time being a Tiger and is very humble. He will have to wait his turn due to the quality of DBs on our roster, but he will be a LSU legend before it is all said and done.
