missed last season with same injury

Same injury on the same knee, or the same injury on the other knee?

Fist, I feel horrible for Belton. He is a great kid with lots of potential. Praying that he is able to come back and have a great Sr year next year.

Secondly, you can buy supplemental insurance through LHSAA, but very few people do. I am sure it will be covered through his family's insurance. But Dr. Andrews is no more expensive than any other Dr. & accepts most insurance companies. He isn't that difficult to get an appoitment with. He performed Labrum surgery on my son's shoulder a couple of years ago.

That's a shame. I watched some highlights after I found out MSU was interested in him and he looked great. I think he would have been a really nice QB under Mullen...hopefully he can recover.

Tough tough break for this kid. My heart goes out to this guy. Gotta be tough on him. Thoughts and prayers.

He was going to have a huge year at WM.
Huge loss for WM too.

WM has a decent QB, who played LB last year.

And they have a good soph QB too but will the coaches let him be the starter?

His dad is currently running for DA in Union and Lincoln parish so I'm sure they're doing okay financially.

Never happen. Mitchell is your starter. I would expect Foust to play, but senior gets the start.

Yep. Mitchell could not pitch out on the option last year. Teams saw that on game film and shut down WM on offense.

If WM cannot get a good pitch-out scheme going this year, its going to be another early exit from the playoffs.

They play the mighty Neville Tigers in the jam. Should be a good game.

We'll see if that transfer RB from Cedar Creek helps Neville. In the Spring their offense was abysmal.

Does Belton live in WM zone?

They have a big house off Mitchams. Allowing his dad to run for DA, which he has no chance in partly due to his son at WMHS. The other reason is he's running against Mr RHS , Carey Brown, who was a starting LBer for RHS back in the day and has been connected to the DAs office for years

Father says he's been living in Lincoln parish for years...which is the truth?

They have a place in both places. Bigger home in Lincoln. I remember when the kids where both at Montessori, John Randall would climb on me like a jungle gymn
Good family just not overly connected and involved in the local community, which will cost him in his DA race. It is what it is.

Kid went to Kiroli, Good Hope, and WM. He could live in Ruston now and still go to WM since he's established residency.

I'll bet Diarse gets more carries, but idk. Their QB is athletic and tall. If he can get some help from the WRs, they should be ok.

Torn ACL, done for the year. That's all I've heard.
