You know the answer. The left in their hearts believe that all of their actions are good for us long term. They are the guardians of the universe and they must show us the way. If that way includes some lying, and few killings, lost jobs, character assassination, etc., so be it.

My question is there a Democratic version of Barry Goldwater? Remember, it was Goldwater that basically told Nixon the jig was up. It's hard to imagine that happening today from either side of the aisle.

Yep, the Dems sold out when they rallied around the President of the United States, despite the fact he perjured himself before a Grand Jury.

You have it all figured out don't you? Little minds like you who can't think past one level have to see the world as good and evil, black and white, for us or against us. You do the same thing with religion. Not only do you believe you're right and other religions and atheists are definitely wrong, you think the same about Catholics.
You can't help it because thinking hurts you so you resort to your script. So I'll give you a pass.

John Dean was not some ethical guy who blew a whistle. Wire tapping the Dems at their Watergate headquarters was his idea.
