Are there any legal ramifications here? I can see the school letting her go, but the male is 18. He's a legal man.

I think there are laws that protect students. Regardless of age.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal for a teacher to have sex with a high school student... I think it may extend to college but it falls under different charges.

Sounds to me that she learned her lesson from the first arrest and went for a guy thats an adult this time. She just forgot to make sure he wasnt one of her students

A teacher cannot have have any sexual relations with a student in grade school no matter what the students age is because teachers are considered to be in a community position of trust. Once you get to college that does not apply to professors.
