1. Spinal Tap
2. Waiting for Guffman
3. Best in show
4. Mighty Wind
5. For your consideration

This guy is a genius. And his supporting cast was amazing:

Eugene Levy
Parker Posey
Fred Willard
Michael McKean
Catherine O'Hara
Bob Balaban
Harry Shearer
Jane Lynch
John Michael Higgins
Ed Begley Jr.

Fred Willard in Best in Show has my crying from laughter every time.

Spinal Tap is the obvious answer but my personal fave is Best in Show

The scene in Guffman where Parker Posey is grilling one chicken wing kills me for some reason.

I love Tap and Guffman about equally. Just depends on my mood.

I would flip Best in Show with Waiting for Guffman.

Big drop off between those three and Mighty Wind and For your Consideration.

I have to say.... I put Guffman up with Spinal Tap.

The best parts for me are what's going on in the background when Guest shoots a scene.

When Corky is recruiting/flirting with the young guy in the car repair shop... and Brian Doyle Murray is in the background with this horrified expression as he watches.

When Corky returns to reclaim control of the play, and Bob Balaban is in the background, his shoulders slumped, just totally dejected over losing the play back to Corky.

And O'Hara in any scene... Just watching her while others are doing their lines. She's amazing.

Mighty Wind is along with those other 3 IMO. I agree with a dropoff to For Your Consideration.

Fred Willard in A Mighty Wind is one of my all time favorite side characters. Hey wha happened! And I can't do my work!

If he's got a long enough hose he'll have alot of friends in the shower room. Folk bands hated that joke.
