A cracked rib can linger for weeks and months, especially if you keep taking hits. He'll have two weeks to rest, so maybe it heels within that time. If he's not 100% by week 1 I'd be worried. Does it doom him? No. But it definitely will affect him in some sort of way. I wouldn't want him, just sayin'.
