I think Cutler has a ton of upside this year as a breakout candidate In that offense, but if it doesn't happen I think Cam is the safer play.

Thoughts?

Is Cam really safer? Their running game is not great and he has no one to throw too that he knows other than Greg Olsen. I think he has a tough season. I stayed away

I'd rather Romo than either of those guys.

I like Cutler's receivers way better. Marshall, Jeffery and Forte are way better, but Cutler always finds a way to screw that up

Cam is worth the risk at his current price. I don't get the hype for Cutler. I would rather own Rivers, Romo, Kaepernick, or Wilson.

It's pretty simple, Forte+Jeffrey+Marshall

This, save Kap, he's looked like dog shite this preseason. Wilson is honestly one of the more underrated FF quarterbacks. Given their value and price I'll roll with Wilson in the 11th as opposed to Cam in the 6/7.

People love Jeffrey and Marshall but hate Cutler

Russell Wislon has 3 career 300 yard passing games. Let's repeat that. He has 3 career 300 yard passing games.

He also finished as the #8 QB last year and only scored about 5.5 points less per week than Brees. Also outscored Romo, and was only outscored by Stafford and Cam by 8 and 28 total points, respectively. So I say again, with you proving my point, Wilson is one of the more underrated FF quarterbacks.

And yet still manages to be a top 10 QB.

i guess Cam

i know the Carolina offense looks hopeless but I would guess Cam will put up good numbers because he's all they really have.

he's just hard to ignore with 28 rushing TD's the past 3 years. I don't think he'll put up good passing numbers but his running ability is definitely good enough to keep him relevant.

Cutler missed 6 games in 2011 and 5 games last year with an injury.

i guess you could say both are a bit of an injury risk this year since Cam is already a little dinged.

but give me Cam anyway. He's been a more consistent fantasy QB than Cutler. And he's done it with less than stellar talent around him.

I think "top10 QB" is kind of misleading. Yes, he was #8 last year when you look at overall fantasy points for QBs.

But that is leaving out Foles (played in what 13 games?) and Rodgers (hurt most of season). 3 other QBs also finished within 10 points of Wilson which is what 0.5ppg difference?

My point is Wilson should be rated at about #9-14 fantasy qb depending on how generous you want to be. I don't think that is overrated or underrated.

With price tag being a factor, I'd rather have Wilson over Romo, Rivers, Stafford, Cam, Kaepernick, RG3 and Foles(No way he keeps that TD:Int ratio. He'll fall back to the mean). And I think he finishes top 10 again even with Foles and Rodgers back.

It's a factual statement but I understand your point. I love Russell Wilson as an NFL QB, but I don't think he cracks the top 10 this year. There are just too many other good QBs out there that throw substantially more than the Seahawks. I forget which fantasy analyst said it but it's exactly how I feel about QB: "there are about 14 QBs that should be in the top 10."

Rodgers will obviously be in the top 10 in any season if he remains healthy. But I'm not entirely sold on Foles yet and I think Dalton falls out of the top 10.
