From an ESPN player poll:

1) Raiders
2) Bills
3) Browns
4) Jags
5) Packers

LINK

Those are definitely 5 awful places I would not want to live if I was an up-and-coming young millionaire athlete.

Packers surprise me.

They win alot and their community seems to really love them. THey look well taken care of in terms of facilities.

Town is small but they dont have to live there year round. the boring town probably keeps them out of trouble.

Packers..WTF? They're one of the most prestigious and well-run NFL franchises.

The other four make total sense, but I don't get how Detroit isn't #5.

so people would rather play for the the Bucs, Texans, Rams, Chiefs, Titans, Falcons, Dolphins, Panthers, Redskins Vikings, etc instead of the Packers?

why wouldnt' you want to play for a team that is considered a super bowl contender every year? That is the definition of selfish.

This is their job, if you could make the same salary for your job in Houston or Green Bay. Which would you choose?

Some of the best fans in the biz.

You don't have to do much to be loved by the fans.

4) Jags

I wouldn't mind living in Florida.

5) Packers

Yeah. That would be awful.

Who the hell wants to live in Green Bay.

Great franchise and great tradition, but really, who wants to live there.

As a lifelong Raiders fan, I would say that while Al was alive in his later later years...

Raiders would have been #1 least desirable.

But they aren't #1 right now and might not even be top 5...

Things are/have been turning around.

Just need a stadium...and home.

No real surprises except Green Bay. Besides it being cold and in the middle of no where, the fact that is a small market which may limit a players endorsement potential may also contrubute to its low ranking.

Poll makes sense because there are a lot of black guys in the NFL - regarding Packers.

Reminds me of Reggie White going to Green Bay in the 90's and him and his wife joking, they were the only black couple in the entire town.
