Taped the games on the SEC Network today and just started watching.

Things I had forgotten:

Coach Miles rotated quarterbacks (Perilloux and Flynn).

Dorsey and Pittman were a bad arse pair of DE's that never took a play off like that Clowney guy did a few years later.

I forgot how much I hated Urban Meyer. It's almost sad how neutered he seems now that he's banished to the B1G.

Dan Mullen did his thing from upstairs. He looks about as relaxed in the booth as Joe Walsh in a hotel room.

Whatever happened to the wide receiver screen play?

And I miss Jacob Hester in the purple and gold.

Who else has been taking the trip down memory lane and what have you noticed?

Perrilloux running the option with Keiland & the reverse options to Trindon Holiday were freaking things of beauty.

I forgot that Doucet missed about half of that season.

This. Was physically and emotionally drained after that one.

Even though I was hammered, I will never forget it as long as I live.

I forgot how fast Lafell was. He had a couple great plays.

Or how many 6+ min drives there were. Incredible. UF defense gave the Tigers everything.

I found myself in the student section. After the Pittman INT I was the bum with his arms crossed cause we were still trailing. Funny to look at.

Never. Should have said D Line.

I also forgot how many dumb penalties the Tigers had and how much straight ahead, down hill, smash mouth running there was.

The offense was plagued by pre-snap and formation penalties all season long.

Crowton's offense was too complex.

Triston Holliday and Glenneth Paltrow were awesome DE's

And it showed the next year. Thank god we had a 5th year senior at QB and excellent leadership all throughout that offense in 2007.

I remember getting outplayed for 3 quarters and once the 4th started, we were a different team. Got that turnover early in the 4th and turned it into points and we were rolling.

I was a senior in high school and can't lie that game really wanted to make me come to LSU.

Then I got to LSU in '08 for the pick-six year and had to listen to everyone go on about how awesome '07 was

So I came in the year after a national championship and my last game senior year was the 1/9 fiaso. Shoulda been born in '89
