how does everyone feel about this?

usually I roll with the strategy that if I have a stud I start them every week regardless of defense played and on their bye I piecemeal my team together with someone off the waiver that has a decent matchup and/or is playing well.

i'd rather use that backup draft pick on more WR/RB's

i pretty much stay in 10-12 league PPR 6pt for passing TDs leagues.

I will only draft a backup QB if my first QB is a running one. If so, I will then draft a backup whom I think has the opportunity to outperform his draft position, in the last couple rounds of the draft

Otherwise, only 1 QB

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to take one very late.

Ive never understood drafting a backup QB. I want to use that roster spot on a RB/WR/TE, where I have 3 starting spots I can play them in. I want to find a breakout player with that pick. Also, I don't want to have to decide on which QB to start every week. There are always adequate QBs available to be picked up since the position is deep.

2 drafts down

Ryan, Griffin III

0 backups drafted

I just can't bring myself to draft a backup when I see value/upside at skill positions still on the board.

Depends on value and who's there. For example, one of the leagues on this board(can't recall which one) Cam Newton was available in the 10th and the guy already had a quarterback, that's just great value... and he took him. Smart move as it could pay big dividends down the road.

Only if it benefits me or I think that QB is better than my current starter
