That he's a better keeper than Antonio Brown

That he's recovering from an appendectomy.

That is fantastic value. I like Ball's value a lot.

It depends on which WR you gave up at that spot. I'm just not a fan this year of Ball. I mean, wasn't he supposed to start last year (Yeah I know he was a rookie) but got beat out by Moreno that can't even win a starting job in Miami against Miller??? I know that's an argument to take a better talent in Ball due to the Manning effect but I just don't know. I've seen Jordy and Julio taken late 2nd/early 3rd. With McCoy already on board, Jordy is a much safer pick and Julio has much more upside than Ball, IMO, even though there's the injury risk.

No player has more upside than Ball

He can be the MVP of fantasy this year.

In a Peyton Manning led offense, all a running back has to do is be slightly competent and healthy

It was absolutely apparent last year that Ball is more talented than Moreno. Moreno was just "safer".

Just think if Ball becomes "safe".

You really think so? I'm just not seeing it but you're probably right. What's your opinion based on since we didn't see him play last year and haven't this year so far?

Posted before your edit. I get that. Like I said, you're probably right, I'm just not sold on him yet.

probably would have gone with Hillman

If Ball tore his ACL, Anderson might get more "carries" but Hillman would be more valuable with receptions and big-play ability IMO

I don't think he didn't play bc he wasn't a better running back, I think he didn't play bc he wasn't where they wanted him to be in pass protection. Coming in as a rookie and being asked to keep up with Peyton's audibles and being the last line of defense on a pass rusher is a lot to ask. He played more down the stretch and had a 2 TD game and a 100yd game. If the Broncos really thought he wasn't the better RB then they wouldn't have let Moreno go.

Definitely a good pickup in the 2nd round. I think Hillman is the better handcuff. I watched Moreno in his first game back last night. Of course it was against the Cowboys, but he looked great. I think Bell was good enough to allow them to let him go and spend more money on the D. I don't think it was because they didn't like his talent. If Bell stays healthy, easy top 10 RB finish.

Though Moreno has been criticized for being out of shape, he has also been injured since becoming a member of the Dolphins.

Montee actually looked pretty solid in the second half of 2013. He didn't see much time early in the season due to fumbling and pass-blocking issues.

He was about as secure with the rock as you could get at Wisconsin. I will go ahead and say that his fumbling 'issue' last season was more of an anomaly than anything. Pass-blocking is absolutely attainable for a running back. Unfortunately, he didn't have much experience with it at Wisconsin. He can be coached.

That being said, I agree that Julio and Jordy are probably the better options.
