Am I the only one that thinks this kid's game (Gray) resembles that of Chris Jackson's back in the day?

Hate to say it, but Gray is looking one and done. He's the type of guard the NBA wants now. If he keeps performing like that and throw that in with a great season and out playing the Harrison twins he's getting drafted . Book it

After watching that, I have to agree. I'm not saying he'll be anywhere near as good as CJ was back in the day, but Gray's playing style, mannerisms and even from a distance, his build and facial features all kind of reminded me of CJ.

Lake Charles has been sending some talent to LSU lately!

We need Gray to be another Marcus Thorton if we want to take it to the next level. And our defense must dramatically improve.

Mickey showed again in that video that he is an explosive, fluid athlete, but all of his scoring was at or near the basket. If he wants to jump to the NBA, he needs to show he can score from the perimeter and handle the ball some in the open court. I'm hoping he's working on that part of his game.

I think it will, having bigger guards will help a lot.

Excited for the year. Mickey should dominate this year.

Breaking news there.

Let's not forget about Jarell. I've got a feeling he's in for a really big year. His upside in crazy and he started to show it as the year went on last year.

Eh, Mickey made several mid range jumpers last year. I'd rather him work around the basket and use his quickness to score.

JG looks smooth and plays one step ahead of defense. Good instincts.
CJ had as quick a release on his shot as any ever was. If JG gives us a poor man's CJ we will be in great shape. There will never be another CJ. Fact.

I think it will definitely help, but the issues were much deeper than just our size on defense last year IMHO.
I'm hoping Musselman helps with those other issues and the combination leads to a dramatic defensive improvement.
Cause we have a team that on paper should light up the scoreboard.
