A Florida man put an end to another “pay it forward” streak at a local Starbucks because he said he thinks people were participating out of “guilt,” not “generosity.”
Oh yeah, and just the day before a fat woman ruined another one.

I agree with him.
But he is a douche for making this a "LOOK AT ME" moment and doing interviews about it.

looks like the type of guy who thinks a person absolutely must hear his opinion.

Pretty sure he was a douche long before this douchey episode.

My wife said she finally payed it forward at a Starbucks where it's happened to her 4 times. Total bill for the car behind her was $18. Probably a family of fats.

He was exactly right, if you read the article. His comments were pretty lucid. It's a bullshite marketing ploy from Starbucks that a bunch of bored middle-aged housewives are flocking to so they can feel better about themselves.

I've never kept a pay it forward going. Never even thought I could turn it into a publicity stunt if I wanted to.

What's wrong is people paying 8 bucks for a cup of fricking coffee and ice and sugar.

O shite this is what this is?
Someone paid for my stuff a couple weeks ago and I was just like sweet, thanks whoever. No idea I was supposed to pay for the person behind me.

I wish people would pay it forward occasionally at my Starbucks. I'd love to ruin one someday.
The idea seems incredibly stupid.
