I'm always kinda waiting and wishing for somebody to write an expose about Lambeau season ticket holders. There has to be a HUGE amount of scalping and backdoor dealings going on. I mean you see it here, people who have season tickets and sell them. I know a guy who has two sets, upper and lower bowl in the Dome, he sells one set or the other each week, up or down, etc. and sits in the opposite one.
I'm not griping like some sad kid on Saints Report -- I have mines, in the Terrace -- but I'm just saying. We know there are people who literally keep Saints season tickets as investments, post-K, selling each week, and it can't be only happening down here, in this small market. I've even heard that there are people up there in Green Bay who own these cheap '60s slab houses in the suburb that's in the shadow of Lambeau, and they rent them out each weekend during the season, for tailgating, charging $$ to park in their driveway, run it like an AirB&B, and stuff like that. With all their history and demand, and nothing else going on in the town, that kind of stuff has got to be 100x worse up there in Green Bay, than it is here. I would think it would be.

That is so true. There is literally nothing to do in Green Bay but center everything around the team.
quote:Brought back memories. In the sixties I was raised up the block from Lakewood Country Club. Every year we would park cars in our yard for the Greater New Orleans Open. While my father was at the tournament my mother and us would squeeze in 10 to 12 cars a-holes to elbows at $5 a car. Good money back then.
People in Green Bay who charge $$ to park in their driveway.
