Things I’ve seen:

-Cameramen yelling at residents in public meetings for standing in way of their cameras

-Cameramen yelling at community leaders for stepping away from podium microphones to better talk to residents

-TV crews making small talk and laughing at the spot where Mike Brown was killed, as residents prayed, mourned

-A TV crew of a to-be-left-unnamed major cable network taking pieces out of a Ferguson business retaining wall to weigh down their tent

-Another major TV network renting out a gated parking lot for their one camera, not letting people in. Safely reporting the news on the other side of a tall fence.

-Journalists making the story about them

-National news correspondents glossing over the context and depth of this story, focusing instead on the sexy images of tear gas, rubber bullets, etc.

-One reporter who, last night, said he came to Ferguson as a “networking opportunity.” He later asked me to take a picture of him with Anderson Cooper.

Media's becoming as big a problem as the politicians, if not more.

The media created the results of the 2012 POTUS election and the rest is all on their shoulders as far as I'm concerned.

Well I was treading lighter than what I truly think. My real thought is that if this country comes apart, they better wear body armor.

Coincidence that things just died down I'm sure.

the funniest was Geraldo heading to the Hooters next to one of the DC Sniper shootings after his report was done. Supposedly hitting on the staff like there was no tomorrow...

As someone that worked in news... this list is entirely... unsurprising.

He should have gone straight to the 1st tee in Martha's Vineyard, and then no one would have said shiite.

I was in journalism for a while. The whole atmosphere is cynical, narcissistic and vacuous. As a whole, these people do not deserve to have the influence they have. No one elected them, yet they sway elections with their slanted dedication.

I'm glad that the internet with its endless news sources is crowding out the mainstream news. No one should ever get their political pointers from a class of individuals who think that the pinnacle of human achievement is being on tv.

If you don't think the media failing to report the actual events in the world leading up to the 2012 election, I've got a 14" gold plated cock that's as big around as a coke can for you.
